On March 5, 2024, U-Freight proudly participated in the esteemed Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Career Fair, hosted by the Office of Student Affairs and Career Centre of HKBU.

Set against the backdrop of the Li Promenade & AAB 3/F Podium at Shaw Campus, this event brought together 151 exhibitors over three days with the shared goal of connecting leading employers with talented students.

For U-Freight, this event served as an opportunity to achieve multifaceted objectives. Firstly, we aimed to identify and attract exceptional young talents from diverse academic backgrounds. Through our well-structured internship program, we sought individuals with the skills, knowledge, and potential to contribute to our company's growth and innovation.

Moreover, our presence at the career fair was instrumental in elevating our brand visibility; both for the U-Freight Group, as well as our e+Solutions (ePlus) eCommerce operation, which is embracing innovative technology and adapting business models to optimise warehouse operations and is deploying warehouse automation, with a particular focus on the invaluable role played by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in daily operations.



We aimed to equip students with a thorough understanding of our eCommerce logistics solutions, particularly highlighting the cutting-edge technology of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR).

By offering invaluable industry insights, we aimed to position ourselves as leaders in the field, fostering interest and engagement among students. 

Among the key takeaways from students were their expanded knowledge of eCommerce logistics operations and a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Many were particularly intrigued by the pivotal role played by AMR in streamlining warehouse operations, enhancing productivity, and improving operational efficiency.



Furthermore, our internship and career opportunities garnered significant interest, with over 110 students visiting our booth. We received over 20 CVs, indicating a strong desire among students to explore potential opportunities with U-Freight; and e+Solutions (ePlus).

Their reactions reflected curiosity about the world of eCommerce logistics, keen interest in the capabilities of AMR, and a genuine desire to learn more about our internship programs and work culture.

As we reflect on our participation in the HKBU Career Fair 2024, we are grateful for the opportunity to engage with bright young talents and showcase the innovations and career opportunities offered by the U-Freight Group.
