With a comprehensive network of international container shipping services, including LCL and FCL import and export operations, the U-Freight Group notes that A.P. Moller-Maersk, the second-largest global ocean carrier, is advising customers to prepare for a Red Sea crisis that could stretch well into the second half of this year.“Unfortunately, we don’t see any change in the Red Sea happening anytime soon,” Charles van der Steene, regional president for Maersk North America, told CNBC. “We’re advising them the longer transit routes could last through Q2 and potentially Q3. Customers will need to make sure they have the longer overall transit time built into their supply chain.”The full CNBC article can be read here: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/02/14/shipping-giant-maersk-doesnt-expect-red-sea-transits-anytime-soon.htmlFor more information about our ocean freight forwarding and logistics services, please visit the relevant pages of this website or contact your local office, which can be seen here: https://www.ufreight.com/en/location
